The QR2 Pro Wheel-Side is the first quick release designed for both real and virtual racing applications. It features fully CNC-machined parts from billet aluminium, developed to meet real-world motorsport requirements.
MOTORSPORT-READY.
The QR2 Pro Wheel-Side was designed to meet FIA standards for use in real-world motorsport. It was originally used for the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car and has since seen further improvements for sim racing and for use in future motorsport applications.
PERFECT FIT.
The tapered shape is milled from a single aluminium block, using 5-axis CNC technology. Precision manufacturing tolerances result in a robust connection between your Steering Wheel and Wheel Base. The self-aligning mechanism ensures the electrical contacts are always protected.
TRACK-DEVELOPED PERFORMANCE.
The QR2 mechanical coupling was developed for use in real-world motorsport. It was originally used in the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car and has since seen further improvements for sim racing. The Pro variant (available here) is designed for use in future motorsport applications.
HOT-SWAP.
Spring-loaded locking pins combined with an ultra-low-friction PTFE coating allows for fast and secure switching of steering wheels. Hot-swap between different wheel designs without needing to restart the sim or your Wheel Base.
EVERYTHING JUST CLICKS.
Steering Wheel attachment has never been easier. Simply bring the wheel towards the base and push to fit – no need to touch the quick release.
